Bringing together governmental agencies, schools, parents, community and religious organizations will assist in the Capital Region Gang Prevention Center's efforts in working with the families of these children to help deter them from becoming involved in youth gangs. Involving youth providers such as the YMCA, the Boy's and Girl's Clubs of America and other area groups will assure the proper resources neededto involve our youth in positive structured programs. The Saturday Night Teen Program's offered by the Capital District YMCA's have been an important asset in providing the outlet's necessary for teens.
