The Capital Region Gang Prevention Center will assist community residents in coming together to address neighborhood issues. The goal is to increase the individual and collective capacity of residents to solve their own problems and create their own opportunities. Community mobilization entails providing assistance to residents as they develop programs and policies specified to their own neighborhoods.
